MARTYR Aluminium Euro-Style Thin Collar

Martyr’s Aluminium Euro-Style Thin Collars are designed to be used in saltwater because aluminium anodes last longer and protect better than zinc. Used in brackish water, aluminium anodes are superior to zinc, which can “passivate” and end up not working at all. They are also considered superior to magnesium anodes, which tend to corrode more rapidly. Aluminium anodes are also lighter than zinc and do not contain cadmium, a substance of environmental concern. These are 2 piece anodes that come complete with stainless steel hardware including, lock washers. They are thinner than standard shaft and collar anodes, which allows them to fit in even harder-to-fit areas.
