3M™ Clean Sand Painter’s Pad with Hookit™ attachment system is a painter’s backup pad that uses the proprietary 3M™ 31-hole design for outstanding dust control when used with 3M™ 5″ Clean Sand abrasives or other 5″ dust-free abrasive products. The series of uniquely positioned holes allows extraction of the dust to prevent loading, increase productivity and provide a cleaner work surface. This dust management system adds life to the abrasive and creates a more pleasant work experience.

The Hookit™ Advantage
Abrasive discs are easy to attach and change out with the HookIt™ attachment system. The ability to attach or remove a disc in moments saves time and effort in a shop, often times boosting productivity. But that’s not the only benefit. Because you can remove and re-attach the same disc multiple times, you can switch out yet still reuse a disc as long as the abrasive still has a useful service life. While convenience is enhanced, the Hookit™ system compromises nothing in terms of secure attachment of the disc. The small loops in a Hookit™ system hold the disc securely in place.
